Syed Omar Ballari is awarded "BEST ACHIEVER’S AWARD-2021" as the title of “GENIUS PROFESSOR AWARD” by MAGIC BOOK OF RECORDS on August 08, 2021, in the field of Education, Research & Consultancy Experience.
Before Joining GNITC he worked as Professor in Department of Civil Engineering at Anurag Group of Institutions (AGI) Hyderabad, India. Dr. Omar is specialized in Transportation Engineering with 16 + Years of teaching, research and consultancy experience. He received his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati and M.Tech. Degree in Transportation Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad. He holds Master’s degree in Business Administration too. He is active academically and professionally in the area of traffic flow theory and modeling, driver behavior, road safety audit and accident analysis, traffic data collection and analysis, and use of plastic waste in construction of roads. He has published more than 30 technical papers in international / national journals and conferences. Dr. Omar delivered a good number of invited talks, expert Lectures, webinars and keynote addresses and chaired valuable number of sessions at various National/International Conferences/Symposia and Industry/Research organizations. Dr. Omar delivered number of Lectures on the Themes of Traffic Congestion, Recent advances in Transportation engineering. Conducted Seminar Symposia granted by DST SERB in 2018 for two days. He has guided more than 50 UG projects and more than 10 PG projects till now He is a paper reviewer for the Journal of Civil Engineering Division, Institution of Engineers (India), and Editorial board member for Blue Eyes Publications as well as reviewer for more than Ten Journals. He is Fellow of Institution of Engineers, (FIE) India, and registered Chartered Engineer (CEng), India. He has been awarded as “Global Teacher Award” 2020. By AKS Education Awards, Gurugram, NCR, India. He has honored with “Research Excellence Award 2020”, by Institute of Scholars, registered under Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India.
