ELIGIBILITY

The National Youth Icon Award shall be conferred upon young individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to various sectors, demonstrating excellence, leadership, and a commitment to social good.

This category includes youth leaders, innovators, and achievers who have shown outstanding dedication and accomplishment in areas such as:

  • Social Service and Community Development – Working towards social justice, equality, and public welfare.
  • Education and Innovation – Promoting knowledge, creativity, and technological advancement.
  • Entrepreneurship and Start-ups – Creating employment opportunities and driving economic growth.
  • Environment and Sustainability – Advocating environmental protection, climate action, and sustainable practices.
  • Art, Culture, and Sports – Demonstrating excellence and bringing national and international recognition to the country.
  • Leadership and Public Service – Inspiring others through visionary leadership and civic engagement.

ORGANISATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS

This category recognises youth-led organisations, NGOs, and social enterprises that have made a measurable impact in youth development, empowerment, and nation-building through innovative projects and initiatives.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Minimum 3 years of continuous service in the nominated domain
  • Evidence of clear and traceable impact
  • Work driven by public interest
