Sushmita Sengupta is awarded "BEST ACHIEVER’S AWARD -2021" as the title of “Best Artist Award” by MAGIC BOOK OF RECORDS on July 14, 2021, in the field of Painting.
While studying in Art College at Agartala she was awarded by the college and Rabindra parishad a renowned establishment, which works Tagore for her outstanding merit of Art.
Spending a year in her new job , she left the job and began to work as a freelance artist at Agartala .being inspired and influenced by the pot painting ( pot chitra) of Bengal as well as tribal motif, she has created a new style of painting and of course she has following certain characteristics of pot painting and tribal motif and assimilated them with her own style of painting, making them attractive and intricate.
Now a days she act as an active member of ---- Chetona (NGO), La – femme (Group of Female Artist) Hanisa (Artist group), Pratibha Foundation at Agartala.
As an artist she participated in various exhibitions, organised by several cultural groups in Agartala and abroad, following same of them.

ABOUT:
Sushmita Sengupta born in Agartala on 1965. She completed her graduation from Calcutta University. After graduation she received diploma from Govt college of Art & craft, Agartala in the year 1992.Then she moved to Delhi for vocational course on design. She got her i1st job in B.K. Birla group of School at Ranikhet, U.P. as assistant Art & craft teacher. She completed twelve years of her job in residential school. Same time she completed M.A in sociology in the year 2004. After that she joined D.P.S.
