National Youth Icon Award is presented to Shailesh Acharekar from Maharashtra state for his excellence works and remarkable roles on Art. He has done commendable work in Unique Multi-Dimensional Paintings and unique style of 3D paintings. We are conveying our best wishes for his success or achievements. It has been recorded in the Magic Book of Record.
His journey started in 1996 when he came to Mumbai and got admission to the Sir J. J. School of Applied Arts where he earned a BFA degree in 2000.
Initially, he started working as an art director in leading advertising agencies where he realized to start his own art exhibition. Although he was working 9 to 12 a day, he didn’t let this become an excuse. He immediately started working on his first love which had always been painting. After many sleepless nights, his hard work finally paid off when he got his first solo exhibition “Touchwood series” in 2003 which attracted a large audience and he received so much appreciation.
With this success, he was engaged in carving himself and his paintings. But suddenly, he took a long break to look after his aunt in her dark days when she wasn’t able to take care of herself. Unfortunately, her beautiful soul left the world in 2021. Her death showered in the form of sadness on him but her blessings, he did a massive comeback with his new exhibition called “Celestial Mind” which was the biggest success of his career.
He has also done some great work in short films by making a video called “Warriors of Covid-19” which was shared by Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Recently, his short film “WAQT” got him over 91 national and international awards. After seeing his success in films, he is currently working on a new short film that is surely going to win the heart of the audience.
It is because of his hard work and dedication that he has received NATIONAL YOUTH ICON AWARD 2023, INDIAN ACHIEVERS’ AWARD 2022 and a nomination for ‘100 POWERFUL PERSONALITIES 2022’. The number of awards and nominations is only increasing every year. He has created his own unique identity and place in art world.
For this good profile and excellence works on his respective field, he is appreciated and awarded from many organizations. He has been sincere, dedicated and hardworking & upto mark in his field.
