The name of Amar Shaheed Jagatpati is not unknown to Bihar. In 1942, when Mahatma Gandhi started the British Quit India movement, Jagatpati started a movement on the streets with the students of Patna and in the course of this movement, on August 11, 1942, in order to hoisted the national flag on the Patna Secretariat, his seven and he was martyred for the freedom of his country. Sanjay, in spite of his very weak economic condition, never fails to organize events. Even last year his wife was seriously ill, yet leaving his wife's illness, he gave priority to the event.
Aurangabad district has been the leading district of socialist movement under the leadership of Lohia and Jayaprakash. But now the socialists of the district have forgotten their socialist culture and days of struggle.
