Ishani Mudiar is awarded “BEST ACHIEVER'S AWARD - 2022” as the title of “Best Classical Dancer Award” by Magic Book of Records on 8th February, 2022, for her outstanding performance in Bharatnatyam Classical Dance. It has been recorded in Magic Book of Record.
About Ishani Mudiar: Ishani Mudiar is the daughter of Mrs. Sikha Saikia Mudiar and Lt. Birendra Kr. Mudiar. She is a student of Delhi Public School, Guwahati, studying in class 9.
She has been learning dance since the age of 3 years. At present, she is learning two different classical dance forms: ‘Bharatnatyam’ under her Guru Smt. Upasana Mahanta and ‘Sattriya’ under her Guru Mananiya Naren Ch. Baruah, who has been awarded with the prestigious ‘Sangeet Natak Academi Ustad Bismillah Khan’ Award. Besides that, she has learned ‘Modern Dance’, ‘Kathak’ and different ‘Folk dances’ of Assam, including ‘Bihu’. She has also acted in two dramas, namely ‘Imaan Imaan Paani’(We are drowning)-2012, performed in National School of Drama, and ‘Tuponiye Ture Kola Tolot Ghor’(Complacency Ruins Us!)-2014, directed by Dr. Mrinal Jyoti Goswami, under Bhaxa Xahityo Xonmiloni, Assam and in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.
Ishani has actively taken part in school cultural activities since class 1. She has also choreographed a few dances in inter-house dance competitions. Other than Dancing and Acting, she has interest in singing, playing guitar, drawing and crafting.
