Zahir Hussain, a young man, has helped more than 1,100 Indian prisoners return home from prison in Malaysian prisons.Zahir Hussain hails from Mudukulathur in Ramanathapuram district. He is also the Malaysian Coordinator and Volunteer for the Expatriate Legal Cell, a legal organization. He has also taken on additional responsibilities as the Singapore Country Coordinator. Through this organization he made the necessary efforts with the cooperation of the Government of that country to repatriate Indians who had been imprisoned in Malaysian detention camps and prisons and were unable to return home.
