Committed dancer formally trained in Odissi with background in fusion and folk. Looking for an opportunity that will challenge me in a diverse way, while allow me to explore my artistic creativity in dance. Samridhhi has started her journey towards Odissi dance at the age of 5 years under supervision of Guru Smt. Prajna Mishra, Sanskruti Academy and then moved to Urja school of performing Arts under supervision of Guru Smt. Sohini Bose. More than 6 years of experience as an Odissi dancer. Team player with a warm and bubbly personality. Experience in the use of movements, gesture and body language to portray the character, situation and abstract concept to the audience as a part of my dance. Very energetic, creative and flexible. Theoretical knowledge of dance and music. Excellent communication, coordination and sense of rhythm. Great confidence, self-belief and physical fitness. Uncommon stamina and confidence. Able to cope with the pressure and handle difficult choreographies for special dance group. Strict performer of Yoga. In the last four years, I have completed the Diploma in Odissi dance as instructed by Pracheen Kala Kendra. My current and rapidly expanding repertoire includes: Mangalacharan (Ganesh Vandana), Vakratunda Mahakaya, Shantakaram, Batu, Lila Nidhi, Vasant Pallavi, Kahin Gale Murali (Abhinaya), Hari Om and Moksha.Some of her achievement:
