ELIGIBILITY

  • The award is presented to individuals, organisations or public institutions that have demonstrated meaningful contributions in any of the following areas:
  • Social Justice & Inclusion – Initiatives that reduce inequality, fight discrimination or protect marginalised communities.
  • Legal / Constitutional Advocacy – Work that strengthens constitutional rights, legal awareness or democratic safeguards.
  • Education & Awareness – Programs that expand access to education, civics, human rights or Ambedkar’s thought.
  • Policy, Research & Reform – Scholarship or action that translates into structural change or better public outcomes.
  • Community Mobilisation – Grassroots work empowering underserved groups in livelihood, dignity or civic participation.
  • Institutional Leadership – Founding or steering institutions that embody Ambedkar’s principles in practice.

 Eligibility criteria

  • Minimum 3 years of continuous service in the nominated domain
  • Evidence of clear and traceable impact
  • Work driven by public interest
