ELIGIBILITY

The award is presented to individuals, uniformed personnel, civil contributors, or organisations whose work aligns with Netaji’s principles and yields tangible impact in one or more of the following spheres:

  • National Service & Public Duty – Exemplary contribution in defence, public administration, disaster response, or community safety.
  • Patriotic Leadership – Leadership that advances national interest, societal resilience, or civic responsibility.
  • Courage & Integrity in Action – Demonstrated moral or operational courage in high-stakes or high-risk contexts.
  • Social & Community Mobilisation – Work that unites people for constitutional, developmental or humanitarian causes.
  • Strategic Institution-Building – Founding or strengthening institutions that enhance national capability or civic strength.
  • Youth Inspiration & Nation-Building – Initiatives that cultivate responsibility, discipline and purpose among young citizens.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Minimum 1 year of continuous service in the nominated domain
  • Evidence of clear and traceable impact
  • Work driven by public interest
