ELIGIBILITY
The award is presented to artists, performers, scholars or institutions who demonstrate notable impact in any of the following domains:
- Performing Arts – Music, dance, theatre, folk performing traditions, stage craft.
- Visual & Fine Arts – Painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, installation, digital arts.
- Literature & Language Arts – Poetry, prose, playwriting, translation, criticism.
- Cultural Conservation – Documentation, archiving, training, revival of classical/folk forms.
- Innovation in Arts Practice – New idioms, cross-disciplinary work, technology-enabled expression.
- Arts Education & Outreach – Mentorship, pedagogy, community art programs, public engagement.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Minimum 3 years of continuous service in the nominated domain
- Evidence of clear and traceable impact
- Work driven by public interest
