Vikrant Uniyal has set a National Record

The record of Singing the Indian National Anthem without oxygen support on Mt Everest Summit by IAF Officer Wing Commander Vikrant Uniyal (born on 19-08-1979) from Uttarakhand state. The campaign started on 15 April 2022 from Kathmandu, Nepal. On 21 May 2022, he summitted Mt. Everest where he sang National Anthem without donning oxygen mask, on the 75th anniversary of Indian independence in Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. It was a tribute to all the unsung heroes of freedom struggle. It is recorded in Magic Book of Record.
