Their collaborative spirit ensures that every work is documented with integrity and care, transforming remarkable stories into a trusted source of wonder and motivation. Brand Ambassador: Brand Ambassador brings forests to life while guiding every wish toward meaningful green impact.

Founder :

Chief Operating Officer: He drives sustainability beyond leadership roles, seamlessly multitasking across priorities, untangling complex challenges, and serving as the organisation’s steady anchor while championing greener initiatives across the organisation.

SUSMITA DEY (Director): With a passion for travel and connecting with people, he aligns communication, resources, and services across on-ground operations, making him a key go-to person for the organisation.

Associate Director: Operations. A native of the Thar Desert, he is passionate about transforming barren landscapes into living green patches, fueling his work every day. Dependable and ever-present, he remains ready to step in whenever needed.

Associate Director – Programs

With roots in Punjab and prior experience at Infosys and Bank of Baroda, she is a multitasker known for her calm and composed approach. Having stepped away from the corporate world, she now dedicates herself to addressing global warming through initiatives that promote greenery and social upliftment.

Associate Director – Programs

With roots in Kashmir and extensive corporate experience, she blends sales expertise with a passion for trees, kindness, and purposeful impact. Living in Delhi and witnessing air quality challenges firsthand has strengthened her commitment to cleaner air for future generations.

Senior Management Team

Technical Architect Preferring rural living and deeply inclined toward nature, he supports the organisation’s IT systems with quiet dedication.

Senior Specialist – Grants and Research

A native of Kerala with a background in forestry and environmental outreach, she brings experience across field research, community engagement, and project coordination.

Manager – Accounts & Finance. With a calm and methodical approach to numbers, he manages the organisation’s finance and accounts functions.

Senior Operations

Manager – South India An electrical engineer by training and fluent in multiple South Indian languages, he enjoys spreading greenery and smiles wherever he goes.

General Manager – Technology & Innovations. With extensive experience in technology systems, she oversees the management and maintenance of the organisation’s IT platforms.

Senior Operations Coordinator – Leh, Ladakh. A horticulture diploma holder from Ladakh’s cold desert, he leads SankalpTaru’s Apple Village initiatives across some of India’s most remote and challenging landscapes.

Senior Manager – Impact Reporting. A PhD in Social Work, she brings experience across the development and corporate sectors, specialising in research, data, and impact evaluation with a strong focus on sustainability.

Senior Operations Coordinator – Maharashtra & Gujarat Hailing from Vidarbha, Maharashtra, his work is shaped by the region’s resilient spirit and enduring determination.

Storyteller- Once an IT professional, she is a conscious soul in the making who finds joy in the smiles of children and continues her journey of personal and professional growth.

Senior Operations Coordinator – NCR A Thar Desert native and former teacher, he applies his knowledge toward building a more balanced and livable planet.

Senior Program Manager

Hailing from the cultural landscape of Trichy, she is an architect who views the planet through the lens of an enthusiastic photographer, aspiring to make it greener.

Operations Manager – Assam. An MSW from Jorhat, Assam, he is committed to nurturing dense forests inspired by his native land.

Senior Manager – HR & Admin

An author at heart, he contributes across multiple roles at SankalpTaru, bringing creativity and adaptability to his work.

Senior Manager – HR & Admin. She focuses on strengthening human resource development, volunteer coordination, training programs, and internal processes to enhance team efficiency.

Technical Architect- Hailing from Odisha, she brings web development expertise, blending strong technical skills with creativity and a love for music and crafts.

Lead – Impact Reporting. She brings strong expertise in research, reporting, and project management, with a background in scientific writing and publications enriched by hands-on field experience in bird research.

Manager – Operations (Tamil Nadu)

An MSW from the coastal town of Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, he is committed to bringing more smiles to the lives of farmer beneficiaries.

Chief Scientific Advisor, A veteran who holds 35+ years of forestry and agroforestry experience in ICAR – CAZRI, and an environmental sciences background, he is one of our distinguished Advisory board members, elevating our work.
Chairperson, Overseas Advisory Board A ‘migrant philanthropist’ as he is known, and a generous and conscious citizen, he is one of the great minds amongst other Advisory board members. Holding over two decades of Global experience in varied operations, his leadership qualities are notable

Working for Kaiser Permanente, Georgia, for nearly two decades, she is one of our Advisory Board members who is an internal medicine practising physician, a mentor, an environmentally conscious citizen, and a humanitarian. Working closely for more than a decade with renewable energy programs, she is one of our Advisory Board members who helps design & implement customer-centric systems and aims to transform banal activities into eco-conscious deeds for every individual.
