A record is a written account of what has happened or been done by someone or something. Records are written or filmed to document facts or events so they can be referred to later and not forgotten. Becoming a record holder requires determination, extraordinary skills, and commitment. Before applying for an existing record, it is important to check the current information and ensure you have what it takes to break it. If you are proposing a new record idea, we recommend spending time researching existing records to see what has already been achieved in your area of expertise. Every newly approved record must be significantly different from existing ones and demonstrate a completely new skill. Being the first to suggest a record does not guarantee acceptance, as some of the new record applications are rejected. However, we are always looking for new and exciting ideas that reflect the world’s diversity.
Therefore, it is essential to ensure that all necessary original documents, recordings, and related evidence are submitted for the record or claim being presented, as the record cannot be processed or a certificate issued without complete and authentic documentation.
In the “Magic Book of Record”, you can apply for a World Record and a National Record. You can select any one record level as per performance.

It may take at least 30 to 90 working days from the date of submission of your evidence for this record to be processed. If the MBR committee determines that your record qualifies as a world record, you will then be officially recognised by the World Record.
If you wish to register for a national record, it is essential that your act or performance can be challenged in at least five states of India. It may take at least 30 to 90 working days from the date of submission of your evidence for this record to be processed.
