Munshi Darud has set a National Record at “Maximum Letters Published in Newspaper & Letters Broadcast On Radio” by Magic Book of Records on 23th December, 2021. The national record of 455 letters have been published in 31 Daily Newspapers in four states namely West Bengal, Assam, Tripura & Jharkhand. 100 Letters have been broadcast on various radio programmes like All India Radio (Akashvani), Radio Tehran & Radio Japan. All the letters are written by him in Bengali Language. It has been recorded in Magic Book of Record.

Munshi Darud was born on April 25, 1994 at Kazipara, a remote village in the district of Birbhum, West Bengal, India. He passed Higher Secondary in Humanities Stream in 2012. At present Munshi Darud is working at Birbhum District Police Department. His father Md Waresh, an ex-serviceman with a humble gift of literary activities, while his mother Rasula Begum is a home-maker. Munshi Darud has been writing numerous letters to various daily newspapers and Little Magazines ever since 2012. His letters have been published in almost all the daily newspapers of West Bengal, Assam, Tripura and Jharkhand. He has also written letters to various programmes on All India Radio (Akashvani) and Foreign Radio channels. Munshi Darud has gained popularity by writing letters to Radio Tehran of Iran and Radio Japan, including various programmes on All India Radio (Akashvani) in West Bengal. Letter writing is his great hobby or passion. His letters have been read on all these radio programmes and received high acclaim and appreciation.
