ABOUT:

Sougat Nayak is a post graduate from Wigan and Leigh College, United Kingdom, SOUGAT NAYAK is a seasoned Human Resource Manager by profession. Across 8 years of his professional career, he has travelled geographies, worked with big and small companies and has interacted with people from all walks of the society.
But, his profession is not what defines him. Sougat Nayak was a below average student as a child who had not so great school life. Being bullied, criticized and underestimated throughout his school and college life, he developed this tendency to prove himself, not just to the critics but also to himself. And that's how he evolved.
Sougat not only has evolved himself as a seasoned HR Professional, but also as an Artist, Orator and a storyteller. His style of storytelling and his not so recent battle with depression developed him to become an author. As on date, Sougat has authored two Motivational Fiction Novels and is also looking forward to edit a book and compile an Anthology soon. His writing skills, has recently earned him three awards back to back in a span of a month. He won the Community Writer Awards 2021 for the Best Debut Fiction Writer for his first Book (The Loser), followed by the Author Pages Awards 2021 for the Best Motivational Author and then he went on to win the Book Club Award 2021 for the Most Promising Youth Author.
Besides being an author, Sougat has been a flag bearer of mental health for a very long time. His experiences as a bullied kid, followed by Depression at the early stage of his professional career, enabled him to understand the value of a healthy mind. And it was on 15th of July, 2020 (The very next day of the death of the actor Sushant Singh Rajput) that he and a few of his ex colleagues came up with an idea of setting up a forum where people can discuss their mental and physiological issues with people who have volunteered themselves to help and counsel people of all age groups, all socioeconomic backgrounds and all geographical areas. Sougat and his team tirelessly work together to address people suffering from depression, anxiety, stress disorders, traumatic experiences, relationship toxicity etc. and have successfully went ahead to save lives all across India. And that took over the phone. Sougat and his team are available over the phone and can address people from all the people speaking Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Punjabi, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, and Tamil & Telugu for absolutely no cost (Yes! They work for free and none of the volunteers charge a single penny for their sessions and people can talk as many times as they wish to. Sougat and his team is available on the forum on Facebook & WhatsApp with the name, 'Discuss to Solve.'
