Madhutamo Sen is awarded "BEST ACHIEVER’S AWARD-2022" as the title of “Multiple Abilities Award” by Magic Book of Record on 25th January, 2022, his outstanding contribution in the field of Direction, Cinematography, Writing, Editing and Filmmaking. It has been recorded in Magic Book of Record.
He is an award winning director and cinematographer, who has directed over 10 films. His most recent film as a director is Conscience which has been screened at the Buenos Aires Film Festival, London Film Festival, Cairo Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, 5th Indo Bangla International Film Festival, Buddha International Film Festival and other assorted Indian International Film Festivals. As a cinematographer, Madhutamo's credit include working on Anti-tobacco Campaign for the Indian Government and directing the critically acclaimed take on corruption 'Answers Awaited', whose screenplay, story, direction, cinematography and editing was done all by himself. In the year 2019, Madhutamo established Cine Swapno Productions, an organization based in Siliguri, housing Rashmita, Ayan, Damini, Biswajit and Rituporna, which aims to turn North Bengal into a fim making powerhouse, by creating movies with a wide range of genres, relating to the current society.
A professor of Microbiology by profession, yet his inclination has always been, creative portrayal of stories. He has conducted various workshops and is a member of the panel of delegates for multiple film organizations.
A native of Siliguri, West Bengal, Madhutamo's Cine Swapno Productions has received recognition for their contribution to localite cinema and upliftment of localite cinema enthusiasts. Currently, he is working on multiple projects which has received multiple nominations and dreams to one day put the map of North Bengal permanently in the International Cinema Circuit.
