ABOUT:

Alija Kumari is the daughter of Mrs. Babita Kumari and Mr. Ramashray Prasad Shahi, resident of Raghunathpur village in Begusarai, Bihar. She has been fond of writing and reading poetry since childhood, but mainly started the work of writing poetry during college days. They believe - 'Even if revolution does not bring change in the society through literature, but literature definitely leaves its mark on the mind and mind of the people.' Her poetry collection "The first flight of dreams" was published in December 2020. In which there are a total of 75 poems of different types, which talk about the natural beauty and its condition, building a civilized society, upliftment of women, making oneself strong and strong and moving forward by making many parts inside it. It also raises voice against the pathetic condition of human beings affected by time and circumstances, against the injustice done due to corruption, dowry system and human thinking.
